I bought a Gridlifter after seeing one on BGE forum. It's an ergonomic work of art! It fits my hand perfectly and I use all the time to lift my grid or rotate it when I'm cooking wings. I also purchased new personalized egg handles for all my eggs. They are very sharp and come in handy when I go to BBQ cookoffs with other EggHeads. I'm going to have to purchase a second grid lifter since I now have an egg at the lake. LawnRanger Tools Rock! Ed Krach Cooking would not be the same without my Lawn Ranger tools. I started with a gridlifter and pigtail flippers and have found myself owning nearly every product offered. The workmanship is superb, the utility of the tools even better. What is as remarkable is how well the tools fit into the hand. Having fairly small hands, most sets of tongs and cooking tools are scaled too large for me and uncomfortable to use. The Lawn Ranger took that into consideration and hand-crafted a set of tools made for my smaller paw. They are a pleasure to use and a pleasure to display. I just purchased another whole set to give as a gift. I can’t imagine anyone who seriously cooks not having a personalized set of these tools. They are still in the nice case and I am using custom tools from the Lawn Ranger. Not only do these work well, but they look GREAT. Just when I thought I could not handle any more good Karma, you come out with the Lawn Ranger Flipper, Ash Tool, and custom Grill Handles. I find the all of the tools extremely useful, and I find new uses for the Grid Lifter regularly. Just holding the tools gives me both the feeling of power, and washes me over with good karma. I wanted to thank you for the great products you have made for me in the past. My BGE Gridlifter is fantastic. It enables me to remove the grid with the fire going and not lose any arm hair! It is far superior to the gridlifter I should have never bought from BGE. But my absolute favorite product that you have made me is my custom meat hook, or as I affectionately call my pig tail. It is sturdy as heck, and is invaluable in flipping steaks, checking a brisket and removing any finished BBQ item that would otherwise lose it's crust when taking off of the EGG with tongs or a spatula or hands. Keep up the good work. Your items have really made my hours of BBQing a lot more enjoyable. But most importantly, when guests are over... I look like I'm a Master Q'er! Regards,
I bought a Lawn Rangers' grid lifter out of curiosity, what a mistake and at what cost? I ended up buying 7 more of them for family and friends as gifts, all personalized of course. They are very well balanced and one of the handiest BBQ tools to have around. You can lift your grill, stir up coal or briquettes, turn your grill while cooking for even heat distribution, and use it as a weapon when someone wants to steal a sample off the grill. Truly a work of art. After the first grid lifter, Lawn Ranger came out with his pig tail turner, AGAIN, another winner, same beautiful custom handle with either a left handed or right handed curve to suit your needs. Since then, Lawn Ranger has made an ash tool with scoop to clean your cooker, and I must admit, it far exceeds in quality and usability than the original one that came with my cooker. Last but not least, his custom handle to open or close your Primo, Kamado, or Big Green Egg is a must have, it lets the whole world know who is the Boss of the Cooker. My Lawn Ranger Grid Lifter is a work of art. It is too pretty to use but the functionality of it makes it a necessity. These should come standard with your Big Green Egg purchase!
